All beads used are made from approx 8mm round and barrel smooth polished natural gemstone beads and with sturdy premium quality clear elastic cord that retains its elasticity well, crystal bead spacers and Wu Lou gourd charm.
 
The Wu Lou Gourd, also known as a "Hu Lu" or "Calabash," is a popular symbol in Chinese culture and feng shui.  In feng shui, the Wu Lou Gourd is often placed in homes to protect against negative energy, illness, and bad luck. It is believed to absorb and contain harmful chi (energy) and, thus, act as a protective talisman. This symbol is also a representation of longevity and a wish for a long and healthy life. 
 
You will receive the same approx 8mm bead and barrel gemstone but each stone is unique and beautiful so please expect slight variations in color, texture, and size.
 
Your wrist size is the actual wrist measurement in the location where you will be wearing your bracelet. The measurement is in inches. If you prefer a loose fit, add an additional .25' or .5' to your measured wrist size.
Each bracelet is cleansed before shipping out by smudging with the purifying smoke of sage or palo santo.
